With Euro 4 (2016) and then Euro 5 (2020) emissions standards, Triumph motorcycles gained on-board diagnostics: the ECU monitors electronic fuel injection, the oxygen sensor and engine sensors. When a fault is detected, the engine management warning light comes on and a code is stored.

On the compatible models listed below - Bonneville, Street Triple, Speed Triple, Tiger or Trident - klavkarr connects to the diagnostic connector. Its location varies by model: under the seat, near the battery or behind a cover. Read the code, then clear it after repairs, without manufacturer-specific software.
