The company Outils OBD Facile owns a showcase website www.klavkarr.com and sells its products and software on it.

The website is hosted by OVH SAS located at 2 rue Kellermann 59100 ROUBAIX.

The Customer is informed of the applicable regulations, namely Law No. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004, on confidence in the digital economy amended by Law No. 2018-898 of October 23, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: No. 2016-679), the Law No. 2018-493 of June 20, 2018 on the protection of personal data, the Decree No. 2018-687 of August 1, 2018 implementing Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on information technology, files, and freedoms.

The Privacy Policy of Outils OBD Facile SAS aims to provide all information about the conditions under which Outils OBD Facile SAS collects and processes the Personal Data of each Customer and its users of the "EOBD-Facile" and "Where is my OBD2 socket? Find it!" applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, as well as on its websites. The Privacy Policy is part of the General Terms of Use (CGU), and each term defined in the CGU has the same meaning in the Privacy Policy.

By accessing and using the applications published by Outils OBD Facile SAS on the Apple App Store, the Customer and its users undertake to comply with and be bound by this Privacy Policy, which may be modified or updated at any time without notice. Any changes will be posted on the klavkarr.com website.

Under the European GDPR regulation, the Customer has the responsibility and obligations of the data controller, and Outils OBD Facile SAS has the responsibility and obligations of the data processor.

Nature of Data Collected by Outils OBD Facile SAS

Data transmitted by the user

Outils OBD Facile SAS does not request any personal data from users of its applications for their use.

Outils OBD Facile will never collect or process sensitive Personal Data as defined by the regulations, such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or union membership, health, etc.

Data related to transactions

Outils OBD Facile SAS does not collect or process any banking data. The Apple App Store has chosen not to communicate certain data to mobile applications, including transaction-related data. These data are exclusively collected and processed by this platform, and the will of Outils OBD Facile SAS cannot modify this payment method.

Data related to devices and equipment

We collect information from and about the devices and equipment you use to access our services, such as server logs that may include information such as the application version, mobile model, mobile ID, language used, operating system, application crashes.

How are the collected data used?

The data collected by Outils OBD Facile SAS are necessary for providing the Services and the proper functioning of the Application offered to Members under the service contract that binds us (terms of use).

The collected data are necessary for the realization of the legitimate interests of Outils OBD Facile (improvement and optimization of services) and notably allow for statistical studies related to the use of the applications.

Category of data:

Regarding the operation of the website www.klavkarr.com, the following are considered as personal data:

  • Identity: title, last name, first name, postal address, delivery address, phone number, customer email address, IP address, encrypted passwords,
  • Data related to orders: transaction number, purchase details, purchase amount, data related to invoice payment (payments, unpaid, discounts),
  • Data related to the follow-up of the commercial relationship: purchase history,
  • Data related to vehicles: Brand, model, vehicle VIN, present defects, Log File containing certain electronic vehicle data for after-sales services and research and development, photographs of the location of the OBD socket in the vehicle (pseudonym and country of the supplier of the photograph),
  • Data related to means of payment: partial credit card number.

Internet users are free to provide personal information about themselves. Providing personal information is not essential for browsing the site, except for the free download of the mobile application or PC software.

On the other hand, registration on the online sales site requires Outils OBD Facile to collect a certain amount of personal information about Internet users. Internet users who do not wish to provide the information necessary for registration will not be able to place an order on the site.

To ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data, Outils OBD Facile uses networks protected by standard devices.

When processing personal data, Outils OBD Facile takes all reasonable measures to protect them against any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

The personal data collected are not subject to any transfer abroad.

  • Prevent and fight against computer fraud,
  • Legal obligation (Legal basis article 6.1 c) of the European Regulation on data protection):
    • Retention of accounting documents and supporting documents (purchase orders, invoices).
  • When the internet user has given consent (Legal bases: article 6.1.a) of the European Regulation on data protection and, if applicable, article L. 34-5 of the French Post and Electronic Communications Code), namely:
    • Sending commercial solicitations by email about other products offered by Outils OBD Facile.

Recipient of the Data

  • The customer service, billing, and research and development services of the company Outils OBD Facile are recipients of all categories of data.
  • Our delivery agents are recipients of the identity, postal and email addresses, and telephone number of our customers.

Data retention period

  • Data necessary for order management and invoicing: for the entire duration of the commercial relationship and ten (10) years for accounting and tax obligations,
  • Data necessary for loyalty actions and prospecting: for the entire duration of the commercial relationship and three (3) years from the last purchase.
  • Data related to means of payment: these data are not kept by the company Outils OBD Facile.
  • Data concerning opposition lists to receive prospecting: three (3) years.

  • Right to define the fate of the data after your death and to choose to whom Outils OBD Facile should communicate (or not) its data to a third party that it will have previously designated.
  • As soon as Outils OBD Facile becomes aware of the death of a User and in the absence of instructions from him, it undertakes to destroy his data, unless their retention is necessary for probative purposes or to comply with a legal obligation.
