Is the oil change / maintenance warning light on in your Jeep Renegade, Compass, or Cherokee? This indicates that scheduled maintenance is due. If it hasn't been performed yet, you need to change the engine oil—either by yourself or with a professional. If maintenance has already been carried out, you need to reset the service indicator on your vehicle.
To turn off the oil change warning light, it's essential to determine your vehicle’s year of manufacture, as the manual reset method can vary depending on the year. You can also perform this reset electronically using a Car Diagnostics Scanner.
